 ODB's Widow Awarded Estate Procee
A Surrogate Court judge placed Icelene Jones, mother of three of Dirty's children, in charge of Russell "ODB" Jones' estate. Following susp!cion that the two never wed, Jones provided the court with the marriage certificate dated July 25, 1991. Dirty's mother, Cherry Jones is reportedly worried that his out-of-wedlock children will now be left out in the cold.
"Since Icelene now has the authority to reveal his assets. We are about to commence a discovery proceeding," Icelene's lawyer told Daily News. Jarred Weisfeld, ODB's manager at the time of his death, disagrees with the court's decision.
"It should be Cherry Jones, his mother [in charge of the estate]," stated Weisfeld. "She's the one he lived with for 12 years when he was estranged from Icelene. She's the one who made sure he ate. She took care of him."
